Mythematica is an alter ego of an artist and a music producer, mediumatik and psychozoic illustrator Daniel Špaček. Project appeared in 2006 and its base station is in Prague, Czech Republic. During three years he managed to find a key to transform his fanciful, surrealistic video projections and visual compositions, known among the Czech psytrance community, into a musical language as well. The fruit of his exploration is a mature, mostly ambient eponymous debut album. It includes hand drawn, 24 page booklet by Milan Malik and Alisha Shutova, showing the journey of a little traveller through different bizarre lands. Mythematica is audio breeding and cultivation lab of rock-crystal sounds, which brings to your ear another sublime, deep, fizzy sharp as far as chilly, sporadicaly dusty and transparent partly orange tales of tranquillity. From moss and fern it cames bringing freshly weaven and with love trued "oink" sounds, "pitipa" melodies and "tampatynk" rhythms. And icebergs are melting... www.mythematica.com
